NexStor wins Award from Dot HIll

Dot Hill Systems, a leading provider of SAN storage solutions, today announced the winners of its first channel awards, set up to reward its channel partners whose work, commitment and efforts stood out among the company’s reseller network over the last 12 months. The awards have been launched as part of Dot Hill’s 30th anniversary celebrations and currently cover the UK. After carefully evaluating the company’s partner base, Dot Hill named NexStor as its Tiered Storage Solutions reseller of the year, and Support Partners as channel newcomer since 2013.

The channel is a crucial part of Dot Hill’s route-to-market strategy, and these awards are the latest addition to the company’s award-winning Connections Partner Programme, which includes a dedicated partner portal, product training, marketing support and margin protection.

Support Partners scooped the channel newcomer award for its phenomenal 831 per cent year on year revenue growth stemming from sales of Dot Hill products.

Tiered Storage Solutions reseller of the year NexStor was selected for selling the highest number of AssuredSAN 5000 Pro storage arrays within the UK. These systems are the industry’s first fully automated real-time tiering solution for the SMB market: they automatically respond to data access needs, and detect data storage priorities delivering up to 80 per cent of the IO direct from SSD using fully automated real-time tiering. The highly responsive real-time approach dramatically improves overall storage performance and response times.
